Tinnitus Is A Major Problem Of Health Disorder

Tinnitus is a disease where the patients hear some sound like hissing, roaring, whooshing, or ringing sound of ocean continuously in the ear irrespective of the place he or she is located. It is one of the intangible diseases that really put the doctors in trouble because this problem is not typically produced by any external stimulant and experienced by the patient absolutely without any tonal quality of single tone, or of multi tonal sound. Tinnitus is a health disorder that may occur all on a sudden or by gradual progress toward the optimum suffering of this disease. By nature the intensity of tinnitus may be constant, irregular, or pulsing. From the point of communication, Tinnitus is of two types: objective tinnitus and subjective tinnitus.

Till date the exact cause behind tinnitus is unknown; some of the medical professionals consider this problem purely psychological; however, abnormality of hearing or factors related to neural system sometimes stands responsible for developing the problem of tinnitus.

The major causes of tinnitus may be certain disorder in the outer part of the ear, like ear wax, perforated eardrum, eardrum touched by a hair, or due to the existence of foreign body in the eardrum. If there is any disorder in the middle ear like generation of negative pressure due to Eustachian tube malfunction, benign tumors, allergies, formation of fluid due to infection, and disorder in the inner ear like excessive exposure to noise, aging, infection in inner eye often comes with hearing loss and giddiness that tends toward the occurrence of Tinnitus.

In some cases tinnitus may occur as a side effect of certain medication like aspirin, ibuprofen, anti-inflammatory and non-steroidal medicines and long-term use of sedatives, anti depressants, and in case of application of some chemotherapeutic agents and antibiotics, the intensity of tinnitus always aggravates.

Other causes of tinnitus are fluctuating blood sugar, anemia, diabetes, vascular disorders, abnormal growth on jugular vein, and abnormalities in glucose metabolism, acoustic tumor etc. and neck misalignment, and non-auditory disorders like trauma to neck or to head. The peculiarities of the treatment of this disease are the treatment is done of brain not on ears and the hearing problem is a side effect of ear injury.

Although the problem of Tinnitus creates sound confusion but it is not at all an indicator of hear loss problem, it is entirely a psycho physical health disorder.
