The Essential Tips In Maintaining The Good Eye Health

Health is indeed our best wealth; however, good health of eye till the end of the life is probably the most precious blessing of good health. Generally above forty years of our age we start suffering from presbyopia, which is also termed as “old eye”. With our natural aging, the flexibility of our eye lenses get deteriorated and onward 50 years of age, in general cases, we need to take reading glasses to read or to do something in short distance.

Although the normal deterioration of eye sights and other potential visionary strength which gets decayed with aging cannot be stopped or restored, however, care and consciousness for eye and its health helps to reduce the chance of deterioration to some extent.

The tips mentioned here cover the general essential eye care which may help to reduce stress for eye and maintains standard eye power and clear vision despite the problem of aging.

Look up and away while you are doing a prolong eye powered job especially near-vision jobs in computer, watching on TV, or doing a painting.

The lightning lamp in your workstation needs to be three times brighter than the arrangement of the rest part of the room. It is absolutely unscientific to read something or to watch something on a light while putting off all other lights of the room.

Sitting straight and keeping your eye at work level helps to reduce stress on eye.

While you are watching something on television or reading a book, never indulge a reclined position, it will put stress on eye.

The television set needs to be placed at least 7 x the width of the television screen distance to avoid the least possibility of vision stress while watching the television programs.

You need to include green, red, and yellow hued fruits and vegetables in your regular diet; these foods contain betacarotenoid which is beneficial and supportive to vision retention power.

On outdoor activity prefer to use green-gray or black-gray sunglasses; these colors are vision-safe because these colors allow passing all spectrums of colors without least distortion which aids the strength of vision.
