Symptoms of sleep apnea

Sleep apnea is a sleep related disorder, in which the affected victim suffers from temporary pause of breathing during sleep and this problem of pause comes in a cyclic order. In children, adenoiditis and tonsillitis cause sleep apnea mostly but in adults obesity is one of the major triggers for this bothering sleep disorder.

The most common symptoms of sleep apnea may differ from one person to another; however, there are some common symptoms for sleep apnea problems like excessive knack for daytime sleepiness, frequent emotional crisis, restlessness within sleep and loud snoring.

Most of the sleep apnea patients suffer from lethargy in morning at the time of getting up from the bed. However, there are several people who suffer from loud snoring problem but they do not suffer from sleep apnea.

The patients of sleep apnea often found struggling for breathe within sleep because the disorder causes temporary termination for the breathing process which results in tremendous suffocation and restlessness in them. The sleep apnea patients often found falling asleep during day; these patients are found fallen asleep even while driving causing great risk for their lives as well as for others. In general loss of energy, mild to severe headache, and significant trouble in concentration are the other quintessential symptoms of sleep apnea disorder.

In case of child sleep apnea patients, besides snoring and restlessness at bed, other significant symptoms are frequent bed wetting, poor progress in school, and poor concentration problem. It is better to contact doctor at the earliest to fight this physical disorder.
