Stress Management Tips

Stress has become a part and parcel of our every day life because; it has become difficult to live stress-free. Therefore, we need to find some tips to cope with the crisis so that we can reduce stress being in the stress for better survival.

A few realistic tips for stress management are mentioned here.

The first and foremost factor in stress management is to recognize the stress triggers; once the triggers are identified, it is easier to find out realistic solution against them.

Deep breathing exercise and meditation are healthy and natural ways to regulate stress and its adverse impact on real life. Practicing deep breath supplies optimum amount of oxygen in brain and clears up confusion and lethargy due to stressful situations.

Stretching up muscles is a good antidote for stress. When we are in stressful situation, if we try to stretch our legs and hand muscles, the stretching helps to unwind the burden of stress.

Smiling from the core of heart is a great remedy for stress. In stressful situation, it may seem that laughing is a tough job but by effect, it works great in restoring balance of mind.

Sometime brisk walking on the open road or on roof top helps to cope with stress. Probably the supply of fresh oxygen in brain stands responsible for this miraculous relief. In other way, changing the focus for the time being is an excellent remedy to cope with stress as this temporary shifting of concentration helps to accommodate with the concurrent stress factor.

Aromatherapy has some healing effect on stress. Gentle body massage or relaxing herbal bath with chamomile, lavender oil is a reliable natural remedy to cope up with the stress factor. On the other hand, by smelling rose oil or citrus oil, or lavender oil the depressive pressure of stress can be managed.

When pressure of commitment gets heavy on mind, it creates severe stress on mind. In these situations, it is always wise to learn to say courteous “no”. A practical approach toward  conflict/complexities promotes great relief from stress.

Knowing self –limitations and ability to accommodate to crisis point is the best way to manage the burden of stress.
