Stress And Effect of Stress On Physical Health
Presently, stress has become an inevitable evil in our life. The mental pressure due to rat race in every spheres of life is soaring high and the complexities of modern survival strategy are becoming tough for everybody and almost everyone are now feeling the suffocating effect of stress.
If we wish to define stress, it is the tension and turmoil we face in reaction to everyday hassles and adversities we need to accommodate with. Professional career, ambition, illness, marriage, personal relation, lifestyle, children, or issues in workplace are the common factors for stress in general of our life.
Stress is the reflex response of body against any mental pressure and disturbances that spoils the natural balance of our mind. In fact, when our general awareness and perception of surroundings do not math our expectation level it generates certain type of anxiety in our mind and stress is generated out of this initial anxiety.
When we cannot balance the strain of anxiety stress symptoms becomes visible. Tension, mental strain, frustration or temporary depression is the result of stress response of body. However, if the equilibrium of our psychological and physiological balance is disturbed for a longer period, the factor of stress becomes unmanageable and initiates multiple health problems in our health system.
When we face the burden of chronic stress and over active nervous system, we express our physical symptoms against stress. The first symptoms of stress remain mild like low immunity issue or like chronic headache issue. With continuous exposure to stress, our body becomes more vulnerable for development of more serious health problems. Depression is the first and fore most severe physical condition generated from the continuous exposure to stress.
Diabetes patients find them in difficulty under stressful condition. In other way, stress makes the problem of diabetes worse.
Stress is one of the major reasons for hair fall. Being under stressed condition, the problem of hair fall starts due to certain change in hormonal arrangement.
Continuous burden of stress created emotional crisis and the negative emotions impact adversely on heart health and induces heart disease. Moreover, obesity, hypothyroidism, sexual dysfunction, ulcer, teeth and gum disease, and anxiety disorder kind of diseases are developed due to the impact of continuous stress on mind.
