Signs of Autism

Autism is an inadequate brain development complication of a child and it affects a child from his birth, but the agony of the situation is until 2-3 years of age of the baby, the malfunctioning of his comprehensive system cannot be realized. The isolated nature of the baby, his unusual tantrum, or his rigid fondness for a few fixed people, and delayed speech are the first hand problems which should make the parents alert and they should start working with the baby to understand the problem, if  it is due to of autism or not.

The general symptoms of an autistic child would be poor eye contact with his mentor, showing no response for his/her own name, reluctant to hear any command, self centered, and self imposed isolated playing habits etc. The intensity of these natural features varies from one autistic child to another.

The problem of autistic children is their lacking in comprehensive communication ability. Due to lack of communication, these syndrome affected children fail to make friendship with his /her friends in class room and remains isolated always.

As these children remain in their own world, it becomes tough to get any kind of response from them against any kind of scolding or pampering. An Autistic child, unless is fond of person, hardly would make eye contact with a person.

From the point of behavior, the autistic child behaves in a different way. It is disappointing to expect any kind of steady behavior from the autistic children. These children are more comfortable in maintaining a definite routine and they never compromise in following their routines repetitively.

These children are generally photo, touch, and sound sensitive, unmindful about their physical pain or discomfort of body and mostly these children tend to display uneven motor skills.
