Self Care Treatment of Hot Flash
Hot flash is a feminine problem in Perimenopausal and menopausal period. More or less all women of menopausal cycles face this problem with different intensities. In general these problems go away normally after setting up the menopause and most women can accommodate her with the new hormonal arrangement gradually.
In some specific cases the problem of hot flash jeopardizes the normal lifestyle abruptly and in these cases medical treatment becomes necessary so that the lady who is suffering from menopausal problem should accommodate her smoothly with the persisting symptoms gracefully.
The conventional medical treatment for hot flash is hormone therapy. However, with some self–care treatment this issue can be managed gracefully.
While at the age of 40+, a woman should start regular consumption of calcium and other supportive nutrients which help absorption of calcium by body efficient and active.
It is healthy to limit intake of caffeine, alcohol, processed sugar items, hot drinks, soups and spicy oily foods. Putting restriction on your diet does not imply that you will never feel the problem of hot flash, regular consumption of balanced and nutrition rich food items will be able to handle the physical crisis efficiently with minimum risk.
The diet of 40+ lady should be rich with phytoestrogen, and this form of estrogen is available in soy milk, soy yoghurt, miso, tofu, tempeh , legumes, fruits like squash, carrot, papayas, and yams, and leafy vegetables.
In some cases, consumption of vitamin B complex is proved helpful for creating a natural resistance for prevention of yoghurt.
Physical activity like brisk walking, light exercise helps to prevent hot flashes, depression, and stress, and it helps natural relief from the problem of insomnia.
The problem of anxiety gets intensified under the pressure of stress and anxiety. On the other way, tension-free life helps to minimize the problem of hot flash. Practicing meditation and yoga helps to control the occurrence of hot flash of menopausal period.
