Safe and Natural Head-Lice Remedies

Head lice are small parasitic insects found on scalp and these parasitic insects initiate extremely itchiness in scalp; head lice is not any infection but it is a bothering issue which might cause embarrassment in social life.
Commonly, mild pesticide-based head lice preventive medicines are advised to treat and eliminate the problem of head lice. As children are the commonest victims of head lice, harmful chemical based products may cause harm for them. Instead of using the general over-the counter-head-lice medicines, some side effect less herbal remedies can be a better choice to treat the problem.
Some efficient herbal remedies for the treatment of head lice problem are narrated here.
It is always recommended to wash and clean hair by herbal shampoo. Shampoo wash should be followed by application of coconut milk on hair. Regular use of this simple herbal remedy for 6-7 days will help to get rid off the problem of head lice.
Before shampooing of hair the shampoo should be mixed with 3 table spoonful of olive oil, one tea spoon of eucalyptus oil, and teaspoonful tea tree oil in it. The mixture should be applied on scalp and retain the same for ½ an hour with a tight-fitted shower cap. After half an hour, hair should be washed off in normal course by herbal shampoo. For optimum benefit, this remedy should be followed for 2-3 times in a week.
An herbal infusion is to be prepared by mixing eucalyptus oil 20 drops, lemon oil 10 drops, tea tree oil 20 drops, and aniseed essential oil 10 drops together in 75 ml olive oil. This herbal mixture should be applied on hair and to be retained on scalp for at least one hour followed by thorough hair wash. For best benefit, this remedy should be applied at least once in a week.
An herbal infusion should be made by mixing eucalyptus oil 10 drops, citrus oil 5 drops, lavender oil 20 drops, Geranium essential oil 10 drops, rosemary oil 20 drops, tea tree oil 5 drops, and 100 ml vegetable oil together.
You are advised to apply the mixture on scalp and retain it for 2-3 hours. For best effect, this herbal remedy should be applied at least once in a week for complete elimination of head lice from hair and scalp. This remedy should be followed at least for three months to destroy the complete cycle of lice on a scalp.
