Risk Factors for Hypertension or High Blood Pressure
Hypertension is the problem of high blood sugar. It is indeed a serious ailment as it triggers serious problems like kidney failure, coronary heart disease, and major heart disease like heart failure, stroke of heart, or coronary artery disease etc.
Blood pressure is the indicator of internal force of blood that creates a force on heart as heart pumps blood and thrusts the blood against the artery walls. When blood pressure in calculated as high, often it indicates that heart is pumping with more force than required which results in stress on heart.
Constant over load on heart leads to heart failures well as leads to other coronary malfunctioning. This is the reason blood pressure should be checked regularly and the result should be treated as indicator of the heart health of an individual.
Chronic disease of kidney and thyroid malfunctioning often triggers the problem of high blood pressure. The ladies are on regular intake of birth control pills, under the treatment of hormone replacement therapy, or pregnant often suffer from the problem of high blood pressure as a side effect of their health problem. Adverse effects of certain medications like corticosteroids or anti-cold medicines induced high blood pressure.
The problem of high blood pressure strikes health system with the ascending graph of aging. The people of age group of 45-55 are more vulnerable to adopt this life-risk disease. Apart from the problem of aging, genetic history, sedentary life style, lack of exercise, obesity, unhealthy life style and dietary habit, stressed life often leads toward the problem of high blood pressure resulting in permanent heart disease.
Those who are regular consumer of alcohol and smoking, often suffer from the problem of high blood sugar. Dietary factors like frequent consumption of starchy and oily foods, spicy foods, and animal protein often reports the infliction of high blood pressure problem in health system.
