Relaxed Bathing with Flavor of Aromatherapy

Relaxed bathing helps in many natural ways in promoting better health and natural rejuvenation of energy and performance; sometimes a relaxed bath works like magic and removes the strain of stress and anxiety and feels loaded with mental peace. The effect of soothing bath gets intensified if the process is enriched with rich aromatherapy aids.

If you are planning to take a shower dip in the bathing water an herbal bag full of lemon/citrus leaves, rose petals, dry lavender/chamomile flowers, and bath salts; old stockings, freshly washed, will serve the purpose of bag. You should use essential oils in bath tub, however, it is recommended that essential oils need to be poured in bath tab mixed with carrier oil or with milk in its diluted form.

The ladies suffering from Perimenopausal or pre-menopausal syndrome should add a combination of lavender, chamomile, and clary sage oil in bath tab before taking a relaxed bath; it will relive the problem of mood swing and irritation of nerves which are some general symptoms of this phase.

Those who are suffering from dry and itchy skin rash should use a combination of lavender, geranium, and chamomile oil in bathing water to prevent the roughness of skin due to eczemas, dry skin due to some reason, and sensitive and irritated skin.

Insomnia patients should indulge relaxed bath with lavender oil and the cold bath needs to be taken before bedtime for best effect.

Apart from these oils, rosemary, thyme, calendula oil, lemon balm, citrus oil, Ylang Ylang oil deserves special mention for their excellent therapeutic effect. For optimum effect of aroma therapy, one should consult an aroma therapist for right dose and combination.
