Prostrate Infections
Prostrate gland secrets the fluid which is responsible for the transportation of sperms and it is a part of men’s reproductive system. The gland is located below the bladder and it is positioned as surrounding the urethra, which is a tube responsible for draining the bladder.
Mostly due to infection, prostrate gland gets irritates causing inflammation of the gland which results in swelling of the same. Starting from the age range of 30-50 years this problem may occur even in the more matured age in men.
Although infection triggers the problem of prostatitis, there are certain types of prostatitis the reason for which is still unknown.
The four types of prostatitis, which are commonly observed, are acute bacterial prostatitis, chronic bacterial prostatitis, chronic abacterial prostatitis, and pain in prostrate glands termed as prostatodynia. Out of these types of postatitis only 5% cases take place due to bacterial infection; however, the rest causes are not unknown yet.
The disease of prostatitis can be created in differnt ways: there was bacterial infliction due to urethral infection, when urine becomes infected it initiates infection on prostrate through ejaculatory and prostatic ducts.
Different organisms, fungi, genital viruses and certain types of parasites causes the problem of prostatitis, some of the popular infections are Escherichia coli which triggers the problem of E coli.
In some rare cases streptococcal and staphylococcal organisms are found mainly responsible for prostrate infection.
Prostatitis need to be observed and treated by doctor. You need to be double alert if the patient feels, urinary pain or burning, difficulty while passing urine, pain or trouble at the starting of urination, feeling of sharp pain at the time of ejaculation, and feeling of pain in the genital area of the affected person accompanies by mild to severe fever and recurring feelings of unnecessary chilling ness.
