Prostrate Disorder Cause , Symptoms, and Self- Care Remedies

Prostrate gland is found in men only, and needless to mention that prostrate disorder is entirely a male disorder. Prostrate gland is located at the base of urinary bladder and around urethra, and it looks, by shape, like a big chestnut. Due to infection in prostrate gland some common problems are often observed like enlargement of prostrate, hypertrophy, and prostatitis, and in each of the cases the triggers are different from one another.

The general reasons for the prostrate disorders are mainly related to life style and aging. Out of the wide lists, extended sedentary work style, frequent exposure to cold and chill, due to some other infections in body, prolonged constipation, and excessive sexual excitement are considered as main triggers for prostrate disorders, although there are many other medical reasons which causes the problems in prostrate gland.

Although the symptoms of prostrate disorders vary from one person to other, in aspect of intensity and frequency, the common problems seen are frequent urge to urinate, obstruction in urinary passage, pain in feet, hips, lower back and in legs, and painful urination.

It is safe and wise to consult an urologist in the first occurrence of prostrate discomfort or difficulties in urination. However, while continuing with medical treatments some self-care processes helps in combating the prostrate disorders naturally. Self-care steps often triggers better control on the prostrate ailments and helps to lead a better life.

Holy basil extract is a natural antidote for general disorders in prostrate gland. In summer holy basil extract should be consumed as combined with yogurt, and in winter yogurt should be replaced by same amount of honey.

Increased intake of water and diluted fruit juice initiates trouble-free form of prostrate gland in men; it is the simple form of self-care against the problem of prostrate. Regular practice of yoga and meditation helps in getting relief in prostrate problem. Warm water bath at night for ½ an hour, by sitting in a water tub, helps to enjoy relief on prostrate pain and discomfort.

Palmetto is an extremely helpful natural remedy for enlarged prostrate. Regular practicing of this remedy helps in getting relief in pain, swelling of the gland, and discomfort of frequent urination at night.
