Post Workout Skincare

Workout raises the rate of metabolism of the person doing the workout session and reactivates the glands in his body as well. Sweating in post-workout time is common as during the workout-session, excess secretion of oil gland causes over secretion of oil and initiate the occurrence of acne.

Due to increased BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate), burnout of certain amount of calories takes place which initiates affinity for sweating. Thus after a workout it is better to take extensive skin care to avoid occurrence of acne or bad odor, or fungal infection in body.

While indulging a primary rinse off your face, you should use face cleanser to clean the oil pores, dirt, and dust from the skin surface to prevent acne to occur. Sensitive skin owners can go for aloe Vera face wash to soothe the irritating skin.

Unless you possess a too dry skin, after workout, prefer oil free- moisturizer to balance the over secretion of oil gland during exercise session. If the facial skin looks like a blushed one prefer to use yellow based tinted moisturizer.

For cleaning and to ensure hair care after workout dry shampoo is the best option because this type of shampoo does not require any follow up services like applying conditioner, hair serum or doing blow dry to manage the hair look. Additionally, dry shampoo adds volume to hair and light in product tone. You can select with a color range that may be more suitable to your color tone.

Using a muscle sore prevention product to avoid the chance of muscle soring after the strenuous session of work out is must to do job for effective skin care. This type of product may leave slightly medicinal fragrance on body, but it works really against the targeted prevention. Regular application of this product soothes paining muscle and improves skin texture.

A towel is essential requirement of gym. But it should be handy, odor free and properly dried. It is better to use an organic towel in gym.

Applying baby powder after the session of work out is a good remedy for absorbing extra oil. A comfort shower is essential but poring baby powder immediately after the session keeps skin fresh and manageable. In fact if you are in hurry and having no time for a shower, pat dry with towel and dust your body with a light layer of baby powder. It is perfect remedy to manage unwanted oil secretion, sweating and resulting in no body odor even in the post work period.
