Obesity Diet

Obesity diet is a kind of medicinal diet for the treatment of obesity. The prime consideration of obesity diet is supply of best possible nutrients by selection of balanced, healthy, and low-calorie food options. The best result out of an obesity diet can be extracted when the diet regimen is supported by proper exercise and healthy life style.Obesity diet should be made of combination of good carbohydrates, healthy fats, proteins, and natural fibers. The diet chart should be planned according to the physical condition, lifestyle, and age of the obese person and that is why there is no standard diet for obesity treatment but there are some general rules for making an obesity diet.
An ideal obesity diet should be comprised of three types of food lists: type-one list contains the food which should be strictly prohibited in obesity treatment process, type-2 list contains foods list allowed for moderate intake, and finally the type-3 list declares the name of the foods considered health friendly and fit for liberal consumption.
The foods high in calorie, fats, and salt, and low in natural fiber count are unhealthy foods and these foods should be excluded from obesity diet as maximum as possible. Therefore, an obesity diet should put restriction against the consumption of carbonated soft drinks, fruit juice with preservatives and additives, sports drinks, chips, crackers, fried and deep fried foods, drinks like beer and alcohol, and fast foods like burger, nugget, sausage, salami, etc.
There are certain foods which are harmful if taken in excess amount. Otherwise, moderate consumption of these foods is good for health. Low calorie dairy products, skimmed milk, cottage cheese, brown rice, lean meat, and wholegrain foods are good for health if consumed in moderate amount. While an obese person follows obesity diet, restricted consumption of these foods will provide better result from obesity diet plan.
The foods, which can be taken in liberal amount are fresh fruits and vegetables, water, [on recommendation of doctor] oatmeal, egg, sprouts, salads, lentils, goji berry, wild salmons, water melon, apple, buckwheat pasta, blueberries, almond butter, pomegranates, orange, and yoghurt etc. However it is possible to make combination of type-2 and type-3 food list as per the discretion of the user.
Along with diet vitamin supplements might be required for balancing the supply of vitamins and minerals. It is always recommended to take advice from professional nutritionist for right selection of vitamin and mineral supplements.
