Natural Skincare Tips for Normal Skin
Do you have a normal skin that feels soft, smooth, neither greasy nor flaky, and without any pores or blemishes? Well, congratulations! You are among those few lucky ones to be blessed with the skin type that we all crave for! But even normal skin, with all its inherent goodness, needs a little care for its beauty to last.
Read on to learn a few handy tips on how to take care of normal skin with natural products to ensure a more beautiful and radiant look.
Normal skin is characterized by the skin becoming oilier in summer and dryer in winter. Such skin type is an indication of good blood circulation and excellent overall health.
Here’s how to care for normal skin:
1. Use a gentle cleanser or mild baby soap to cleanse your face twice daily. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
2. After cleansing, use a mild toner like rose water on your skin. This will help rejuvenate the skin and tighten the pores. Avoid alcohol based toners as they tend to dry the skin.
3. Follow this up by applying a thin film of moisturizer so that your skin remains hydrated and supple.
4. If you feel slight oiliness or dryness in any area of your skin, take extra care of those areas by following skincare regimes specifically designed for oily or dry skins respectively.
5. Stimulate the blood circulation and make your skin feel extra smooth by applying hydrating and/or purifying masks on your face weekly or once in two weeks.
6. Exfoliate your skin regularly to get rid of dead skin cells and get a healthy, refreshed skin.
7. Drink plenty of water and follow a healthy diet rich in fresh fruits, vegetables and grains.
8. Before applying any cosmetic or makeup product, apply a mild, oil-based moisturizer onto your face, so that your skin’s natural moisture is retained.
9. If using cosmetic products during the day, make sure you use only those products that contain sunscreen. This will help protect your skin from the harsh effects of the sun.
