Natural Remedies for Boils
Boils are accumulation of pus formed around hair follicle which is a kind of bacterial infection or inflammation. They are usually found on buttocks, underarms, neck or face.
Boils are often recurring and also quite painful and distressing. The areas containing hair or sweat glands are more prone to boils. Boils in the beginning starts with unnoticeable tender bumps; but gradually they turn into hard, inflamed lumps, filled with pus. Adding vegetables that are high in beta carotene like dark green vegetables or orange vegetables can help to heal the boils fast as beta carotene repairs and maintains skin.
Protein foods like eggs, beans, lentils and cold water fish should also be included in diet to boost the immune system. Adding foods that are high in essential fatty acids like fish and flaxseeds in your diet can prevent boils and abscesses.

Take vitamin C 1,000 mg with bioflavonoid thrice a day which will improve the immune function reducing inflammation and not only heal the boils fast but will prevent boils or abscesses from recurring.
Burdock root is another effective treatment for boils. Taking 500 mg can help to reduce the infection and inflammation of boils because burdock can very well detoxify the skin.
Take 500 mg of burdock root, three times per day. Burdock root is used throughout many cultures for abscesses because of its powerful detoxification properties for the skin.
Boils are mainly the result of low immune function. So, by boosting the immune system, we can prevent boils and abscess from occurring. Practicing good hygiene is also necessary to prevent boils.
