Natural Cures of Bursitis
The painful inflammation of bursa is called bursitis. This bone disorder is caused primarily by over pressure, repeated bumping or bruising, or due to overuse of the affected muscles. It is mostly popular in it nickname that is housemaid’s knee, Baker’s Cyst, and Clergyman’s knee etc. It is not a problem of knee by default it affects all the joints of body. It is an extremely painful disease and demands major concern.
Bursa is a fluid filled sac positioned beneath each joint and held responsible for the flexibility and maneuverity of the joints. In fact bursa acts as a protector that averts the possibility of damage of the soft tissues by tough bones. When the bones and muscles are in vigorous activities and rigorous exercise, due to repetitive friction over bursa the structure including muscle, tissue and bursa suffer from inflammation resulting in pain and swelling of the muscles.
Although rest and prevention is the best remedy possible against the problem of bursitis, there are some processes of natural cure from this painful disease, which are discussed below in outline.
Grate one potato and soak it in water for over night. In the morning in empty stomach you can consume the water straining the potato pieces aside. This remedy needs to be repeated for at least a few days without any repetition.
Add one table spoon of cayenne pepper in 1 cup of cider vinegar and put the mixture on heat for 15 minutes. Apply olive oil on the affect place and paste the mixture on the affected place in lukewarm condition to reduce the pain of bursitis.
Regular consumption of sea water in beneficial in reducing/controlling the severity of bursitis but this remedy should not be followed if the affected person is already suffering from high blood pressure problem.
Application of tea tree oil provides temporary relief from the bursitis pain. Application of sandalwood paste on the affected joint also results in soothing the intensity of pain.
Adding 3-4 drop of lavender oil in the bathtub helps to soothe the sensitive joints and helps to relieve the pain of the bursitis.
Regular intake of calcium, and vitaminB-12 helps to relieve the pain for bursitis.
