Natural Cure Remedies for Lowering Cholesterol
Adequate consumption of water is a great natural medicine for the high cholesterol patients. The patients of high cholesterol problem are always advised to take 8-10 glass of water everyday.
Regular intake of decoction of coriander seeds would be helpful for cholesterol control. The patients of high cholesterol are advised to consume decoction of coriander seeds in normal temperature for 2-3 times a day.
You are supposed to make decoction of cinnamon stick and boiled [10 cinnamon sticks should be added to 5 teacupful water]. Once the decoction comes to boiling point, allow it to boil for 10 minutes on low heat. This decoction is supposed to be consumed in lukewarm condition after adding one tablespoon honey in it. Long term use of this remedy works well in lowering cholesterol level from blood.
Restlessness and shortness of breath are the prime complications of cholesterol patients. It is often prescribed to cholesterol high patients to consume milk treated by meshed garlic in it. The milk needs to be cooled after thorough boiling. This simple remedy is recommended to be consumed for a few days regularly; it would help to reduce the problem of cardiac pain, if any, and would impact in lowering cholesterol.
Alternatively, consumption of 2-3 raw garlic cloves in the morning in empty stomach helps in lowering cholesterol level effectively.
Consumption of onion juice or raw onion is an effective option for lowering cholesterol through natural way. However, it is also recommended that regular consumption of a small bowlful curd for cholesterol patients as curd helps in reducing cholesterol with almost immediate effect.
Regular exercise is perhaps the best remedy to keep cholesterol level under strict control. Consumption of almond, walnut, etc. helps in natural reduction of cholesterol. The cholesterol patients should consume foods cooked by sunflower seeds’ oil instead of butter and saturated oils.
Those who are suffering from high cholesterol should take natural fiber rich foods; for example, raspberry, blackberries, green bean, broccoli and strawberries etc. are some options for natural fiber based foods. The regular diet of high cholesterol patients should include soy-based foods, un-pasteurized milk, egg yolk, wholegrain cereals, and vegetable oil etc. to initiate better recovery from higher cholesterol level.
