Natural Cure From Low Breast Milk Supply

Breast milk is produced in post-natal period to feed human babies by their mother. It is secretion from mammalian gland outcomes from mother’s breast and it is full of nutrition that it does not require any other food for first six months for the baby. The newborn gets its required nutrition from breast milk and World Health Organization recommends only breast milk to feed the babies for first six months for the overall development of the neonatal as well as to strengthen his /her immunity in most natural way. Up to two years of age consumption of breast milk regularly helps to develop the immune system of the baby so it is highly recommended.

As breast milk is the only one source of recommended food for the newborns, sometime it becomes necessary to increase the production of breast milk; hence mother’s may opt for some natural remedies which can boost the secretion without harming the quality or without harming the health of the nursing mother.

You can grind fennel seeds into regular powder and make a decoction of it with boiled water. The nursing mother needs to drink the water as well as chew and digest the seeds. It is to be repeated for thrice per day. This natural remedy helps to produce more breast milk.

To increase the quantity of breast milk you need to soak buckwheat in butter treated milk and consume it at least twice a day.

Consumption of almond oil helps to produce better quantity of breast milk for a nursing mother. But before application of this remedy you need to talk to doctor once.

A teaspoon full fenugreek seed needs to be consumed regularly with milk or water to increase the quantity of breast milk in the lactating mother thus can improve the production of breast milk in a natural way.

It is recommended that anise seeds can improve breast milk production with the lactating mother. Anise seeds (2-3 teaspoons) need to be grinded in powder and has to mix it in water and the water needs to be boiled for 3-5 minutes as well as tea should be steeped at least for 15 minutes before consumption.

Consumption alfalfa is beneficial for improving the production and quality of breast milk. Alfalfa can be consumed as tea or like a health drink or the lactating mother can eat it according to her discretion.
