Natural arthritis remedies

Arthritis is the inflammation of the bone joints. There are different types of arthritis; however, the general symptoms of all types of arthritis are stiffness in joints, redness of the affected spots, inflammation, and burning pain in the affected bone joints which makes movement difficult..

Natural remedies of arthritis are supportive remedies which can take care of the long-term well being of the patients and help empowering the weaker immunity system for creating internal resistance against this painful disease.

It is accounted that flax seeds naturally cures the problem of arthritis; the arthritis patients are advised to take one table spoon of flax seeds 3 times per day. Flax seeds can be added to milk, juice, or in cereals otherwise the powdered form of flax seeds can be used in cooking process also.  For convenience of intake flax seed oil can also be used.

Epsom salt is a popular medicine for the natural treatment of arthritis. The magnesium content of Epsom salt takes care of bone health and control the pH level of the patient’s body. Hot bath at regular basis with Epsom salt treated water is a good remedy for cure of stiffness in joint due to arthritis.

Arthritis patients are often advised to take herbal tea made of alfalfa seeds; in initial stage, the patients are advised to consume 3-4 cups of herbal tea during a day. Otherwise consumption of one alfalfa capsules in diet will suffice.

Consumption of herbal combination of honey and cinnamon helps in remarkable improvement in pain management of arthritis. One teaspoonful honey and ½ teaspoonful cinnamon powder to be consumed by arthritis patients before breakfast at regular basis. For satisfactory result, this simple remedy should be continued for one moth at least.

Cartilage degeneration is a prime disadvantage of arthritis disease. Research and study has proven that arthritis patients may slow down cartilage degeneration crisis by consumption of small amount of cod liver oil at regular basis. The omega-3 fatty acid also works potentially against control of pain and inflammation of the affected joints.

Intake of turmeric capsules, and  regular use of turmeric and ginger paste in cooking help in imposing  natural control on pain and inflammation of bone joints due to arthritis.

Use of ergonomic tools at home and workplace, application of acupuncture method, physiotherapy massage, heat and cold compress, stress management, self-help methods are the other natural processes which may help in coping with arthritis.  However, doctor’s advice is the best resource to avail natural relief as per the health condition of the patient.
