Menstrual disorder in Women

Menstruation is the sign of femininity at its mature stage in a woman. Generally, in urban society, Menstruation starts at the age of 11-13 and by this time there is adequate physical growth in a girl as well as female hormones start being active. Menstruation is thus the significance of perfect female hormone activities in a girl and it is a step ahead toward her capacity to attain motherhood. The whole process of menstruation occurs regularly at the gap of 28-30 days every month, and remains for 3-5 days in normal case, although in some cases the duration of menstruation period lasts for 7-10 days.

In some of the women, the flow of blood gets obstruction due to hyper-acidity; blood gets clotted, and prevents from free flow. That is why in some women abdominal and lumber pain is observed in the initial 2-3 days.

In case of some women, nausea, irritation, mood swing and pain in breast and in other parts of body are observed and when the menstruation period gets over this problems also no longer persists. However, most often the problem of little or excessive blood flow, abdominal pain, lumber pain, muscle cramp, and acute headache make this period troublesome for most of the women.

Hormonal discrepancy and acute anemia may be the cause for menstrual syndrome. If the intensity of pain is severe, blood flow seems to be abnormal, either excess or notably low, you should consult a gynecologist to find the cause behind this anomaly. However, in case of average rate of problems some home remedies and regular workout can swipe out the problems.

Light exercise, meditation, yoga can help to release the stress of menstrual phase and certain fruit like papaya, banana, and fresh curd can help to low down the physical agony to certain extent.

Women suffering from sever pain, instead of taking pain killers can try marigold extract 2-3 tea spoons or ginger, chopped and boiled in water in semi concentrated condition, to manage the pain.

Papaya, in ripe condition, helps to increase blood flow and neutralize muscle cramp inside uterus.

Menstruation is common factor in a woman’ life and one should be obsessed with the problem. If the discomfort can be attained with perseverance, it can be managed without any trouble in most cases.
