Menstrual Cycle Disorder In Women
Menstrual cycle disorders are certain conditions that generally occur when structural conditions, hormonal balance, or other kind of events take place during the menstrual cycle. The disorders of menstrual cycle include excessive bleeding that is termed as menorrhea, absence of bleeding termed a amenorrhea, PMS, and PMDD, and menstrual cramp.
These disorders are never present is a person at a time or sometimes occurs with one or two problems together. The intensity of menstrual disorder varies from one woman to other and also it depends on the adjusting temperament of a woman to express her view against normal tolerance level.
Menorrhea is the medical term of excessive bleeding. It may last from 3-7 days or more. There are many reasons for menorrhea including problem like endometriosis. Sometimes stress and tension trigger menorrhea.
In case of menorrhea, the tenure of menstrual period tends to expand for 7-10 days and in most of the cases the gap between two menstrual cycles reduces to 20-21 days instead of 28-30 days.
Apart from endometriosis, there are several relevant symptoms or reasons for this problem. In this kind of excessive bleeding at menstrual period needs to be monitored by the consulting doctor as early as possible.
Amorrhea is the absence of periodical bleeding. In case some gynecological problem or due to hormonal imbalance the problem of amorrhea occurs. Sometimes anemia creates such kind of disorder.
PM and PMDD occur immediately before the menstrual cycle and in this time the affected woman goes through some emotional crisis, and the whole phase is marked with behavioral problem, mood swing and high degree of unpredictability on the part of the affected woman; once the period is over, the problem of PMS and PMDD get over.
Some ladies at the time of menstrual period or one week before the scheduled cycle feel the problem of menstrual cramps. In acute problem the doctors prescribed medicine, in home preventive measure, application of heating pad in the pelvic region helps to manage this problem.
