Managing Long Hair

Washing is a great hassle for long hair and most of the women possessing long hair opt for regular shampoo to keep the hair bouncy and shiny. But this can be managed in different way as regular shampoo is not mandatory for long hair.

Washing can be one by simply water or applying conditioner in the hair follicles after water-wash if your hair is dry and damaged. Shampoo can be applied at the most in alternative days or in more gap depending on the dust exposure of the hair.

The women possessing long hair make a general mistake by avoiding hair salon and it is taken granted that long hair needs less care from salon range. On contradiction, small hair can be managed by personal care but massage and trimming by professional hands are obvious demand for long hair. So to keep the long hair free from split end professional hair care is necessary.

It is general practice to tie long hair tightly at the time of sleep, which is not good for the general health of hair. It is wise to indulge a loose braid after thorough combing and brushing. If possible some non oily serum can be applied so that on friction with pillow the hair follicles will not be damaged. Otherwise wrapping the hair with a silk scarf retains the natural bounce of the hair and good for overnight protection from friction.

Once washed, long hair takes time to dry up totally and in most of the cases blow dry is preferred as it quickens the process of drying. But in case the long hair is dried by blow dry, it may damage the hair follicles abruptly as blow dry initiates dryness in hair. At least 20 minute natural drying in mandatory for long hair drying process before someone set fro blow dry to minimize the duration of heat exposure, to accommodate the effect of blow dry coping with the health of the hair follicles.
