Male Impotence

In middle ages [between 40-70 years bracket] the inability to maintain an erection is a common problem for men. Male impotence is also termed as erectile dysfunction. This is no doubt a depressing disorder but it is not an individual disorder of sexual malfunctioning.
The triggers of impotence or erectile dysfunction can be different. However, in most of the cases male impotence is the result of psychological blockage and undiagnosed physical problems, and recurring illness. Social stigma, pollution, even stress in life causes male impotence.
One of the main reasons for impotence is diabetes; thus it is important to keep control on diabetes to control the intensity of impotence.
Another major reason for impotence is the spell of anxiety and depression. Depression can kill the impetus of life of an individual and thus results in erectile dysfunction in depression victims. In this case, impotence is caused due to psychological reason. Treatment for clinical depression and co-operation from the family members can help to overcome this problem.
There are other common triggers for male impotence. Some of the common reasons for male impotence are genetics, effect of certain medication, especially high blood pressure antidotes and medicines for central nervous system, alcohol addiction, addiction to smoking, long-term use of antidepressant etc.
In all these instances consultation with doctor is the most reliable process to treat the discrepancy; counseling and initiatives to lead a healthy life supports quick recovery from this malady.
Groups of men experience in the morning a full or somehow partial erection but in reality they cannot perform properly. In most of these cases, the problem of mental stress and lack of confidence spoils the natural potency of body resulting in impotence. In case mutual relation tension some one suffers from impotence, it is wise to consult counselor.
There are some factors triggering male impotence; one of the major reasons for male impotence is age. With aging arteries in human body get hardened and create obstacles in getting afdequate blood supply in penis, which results in erectile dysfunction.
Sometimes environment provoked disruptions cause temporary impotence; however, here psychological distraction initiates the main issue. Obesity often induces diabetes and in many instances impotence is caused due to diabetes.
Malfunctioning liver and enlarged prostrate gland [prostatitis] may cause male impotence. Prostatitis occurs in the middle age, thus the problem of impotence starts chasing men mostly in the middle age. However it is a curable problem and most often gets recovered by proper treatment and life style modification except in case of aging or genetic issues.
