Therefore, it is good to know the common liver diseases and the symptoms of these diseases in order to lead a quality life with healthy liver. Early detection of liver disease results in easy recovery from the problems.

One of the major symptoms for diseased liver is jaundice. Diagnosis of jaundice proves some discrepancy in liver or gallbladder. In this disease skin, eye color, and nail colors of the patients become yellow. It is wise to consult a doctor at the preliminary onset of jaundice to avoid further complications.
Another major symptom for diseased liver is troubled digestion and loss of appetite. If this condition runs long and is left untreated, it may cause anemia. If there is vomiting tendency in the suffering patient with pain in abdomen, it might be the case of gastric ulcer in digestive system. Ulceration needs proper diet and constant monitoring of doctors.
Light coloration of stool at regular basis is another prime symptom of liver disease. Light colored stool is one of the positive indication of low bile production or evidence of the fact that there is certain blockage in bile duct. Gray stool and pale colored stools are also considered as light colored stool.
Bloating and distention are the other symptoms for diseased liver which spoils the normal course of activities in a major way. In case distention becomes severe, it will create pressure on diaphragm which may induce mild to moderate chest pain.
Excessive thirst and frequent urge of urination are two common symptoms of liver disease.
Mild to severe diseases of liver display some general physical symptoms which are not very specific of liver disease as these symptoms are associated with many other diseases. Some of these symptoms are headache, pigmentation related skin problem, allergy, discomfort of dizziness, redness in eye, mood swings and irritation, hypochondriac pain, depression, continuous and unusual stiffness in ligaments and tendons. Patients suffering from liver disease may experience the problem of tinnitus.
