Japanese people in an average enjoy good health and Japanese women are hardly found obese. Research and study has revealed that some credit for this fitness miracle goes in favor of Japanese diet. In fact if we realize the general food plan of Japanese diet we will find that it is not a mere diet plan, but a positive view toward healthy approach of life and healthy foods.

The basics of Japanese diet are its simplicity and positive approach toward healthy life. There is a universal integrity in the rules of Japanese diet which can be followed in every diet regimen provided we wish to lead healthy life by simple and hassle-free diet plan.

Japanese people prefer to have small quantity of many option is a meal; on the other hand we often emphasize a single food item in meal menu and get over loaded.

The ingredients used in Japanese culinary process are simple and light, thus the food preparation in Japanese menu are quite light and easy to digest.

Japanese people put maximum emphasis on breakfast and they take a complete breakfast almost similar to dinner. It is good to have a king size breakfast because a complete breakfast at regular basis helps to keep body revitalized and improves stamina and concentration level.

Japanese people enjoy dessert but in small quantity. It is like a good and healthy option for food recreation.

Japanese people in an average walk a lot which take care of their calorie burning needs. They believe in manual labor up to a certain extent which acts as natural stimulator for their life force and strong health.

Japanese people take multiple options of foods together and in most of the cases their garnishing of foods is healthy but extremely attractive in look, which provokes hunger.

Japanese people in an average discard over eating; a survey to this issue has reveals that average Japanese people prefer to eat up to 80% of their intake capacity.

A few recommended foods in Japanese diet

Brown rice, salmon and mackerel, daikon radish, and sea vegetables, tofu, miso, endamame, and soy sauce, noodles, fruits, and preferably green tea as natural health drink.

Japanese diet lays special importance for seasonal foods; slow eating is a common Japanese habit. Japanese do not include dairy products and bread as part of their regular meal. Fresh fruit is most often considered as most preferred dessert instead of sugary items.
