Home Remedy For Dry Socket Tooth

When a tooth is pulled up by a dentist, it creates a problem with the left empty socket and as due to removal of the tooth, a gap gets on there, sometimes it becomes a worry and hardly a dentist can help anything to do against it.

In fact, loose socket is a matter of time problem and in course of time it gets filled naturally. Meanwhile, if you are facing problem with your dry socket, you can try some home remedies to manage the sufferings. This is a common problem faced by people has gone through the treatment of plucking damaged tooth by dentist.

Swelling is a great problem here. You can try some ice pack on the wound and it will soothe the pain and will stop bleeding. It is better not to poke tongue on and on there because it may hurt the sensitive place.

Alternatively, you can use a cold tea bag on the wound and press it there with pressure of teeth. The tanic acid in the tea of the bag will help by providing relief.

Cleaning the wound will initiate faster recovery and relief from pain. Take some saline water; you need to take normal or lukewarm boiled water and add ΒΌ teaspoon salt and then do the gargling frequently to clean the dry socket.

You can dab a cotton ball in the clove oil and apply it on the dry socket; the anti inflammatory and antiseptic qualities of clove oil will pace faster healing process. Alternatively, you can chew a clove to utilize the clove oil effect on the wound.

You can add a pinch of turmeric powder in a cup of lukewarm boiled water and do rinse your mouth along with the wound well .This simple home remedy will provide you relief from the troubling dry socket. Massaging gum with a pinch of turmeric, dry salt and mustard oil will help to get relief from dry socket pain and discomfort.

Tobacco users should avoid consumption of tobacco by all mans at least for 5-7 days until the wound gets healed. It is better to rinse your mouth frequently with natural antiseptic in order to avoid discomfort but it should be affect the natural haling process of the wound.

If with all these remedies you cannot be able to manage your dry socket pain, take a pain killer and consult your dentist immediate for further consultation.
