However, you can use any type of footwear while going out of home. Avoid stepping out with naked feet. Always keep the feet moisturized and avoid extra dryness in the skin. Apply scrub of the feet after putting the feet into the warm water. Scrubbing will remove the dead cells along with unwanted dirt from the cracked portions. This is an effective home remedy. People suffering from cracked heel problem may also apply coconut oil over the affected portion. Coconut oil is also helpful for cracking heel disorder.

However, there is one another daily therapy, accept this lemon water treatment. Put the feet into lukewarm soap water for about 15 minutes everyday after coming home in the evening. Do this therapy when you are sure that you are not going outside anymore for the day. Take the ripen banana pulp and apply it on the cracked heel portion. Prepare a mixture of one tsp of Vaseline with one lemon juice. Apply the prepared mixture over the cracked portions of the heel along with the dry parts. Allow the affected portion to absorb the medicine. It is also a good home remedy for cracked heels. Apply the solution of glycerin and rosewater over the cracked heels in regular basis. It will also reduce the cracked heel problem to a large extent. Prepare a mixture of melt paraffin wax with mustard oil apply it over the affected area overnight. Wash it in the next morning properly. Repeat the process for about 10 to 15 days for best result. This is one of the proven home remedies of cracked heels.

There are some particular minerals and vitamins that are required in our body. It is necessary to include calcium, zinc, vitamins and minerals in our diet for healthy skin. For cracked heels Omega 3 fatty acid is the best medicine for recovery. Try to include green and leafy vegetables, vegetable oils, cereals, wheat and grain products in daily diet. Diary products, meat, brown rice and fishes are useful for the zinc, iron content in them.

Use olive oil on the cracked heels regularly for quick heals. Before bedtime, apply olive oil over the dry and cracked heels and wait for some time. Rinse then properly. It is proved to be a good home remedy for cracking. Make a mixture of papaya and juice of lemon and apply the mixture over the cracked portion of the feet. Wait for about 20 minutes and wash out thoroughly. Take a gallon of lukewarm water and add raw salt to it. Soak the heels into it for 15 to 20 minutes. It is the natural therapy of pedicure giving a very clean and healthy look to your feet. As it is more prone to have cracked heels in winter, always be very careful and keep the feet clean and covered to escape from dryness.
