Home Remedies For Blackheads

Blackheads are black colored follicles which bears larger and wider openings than the normal ones. These blackheads are also known as open comedones that generally occurred due to over activeness of the sebaceous glands. They are generally formed in the body portions that contain sebaceous gland like nose, forehead, chest, back, neck etc.

Blackheads are characterized by little bumps of black or yellow color occurred on the skin pores. They obstruct the follicles due to production of sebum and dry skin. They are some other form of acne. Sebum is an oily matter which is formed from the sebaceous or oil gland. Excess secretion of sebum with dry skin clogs the skin pores forming blackheads.

The upper portion of the blocked pore becomes hard due to presence of air becomes oxidised and black. These black portions are called blackheads. It is very essential to take care of these blackheads; otherwise they may make the face ugly forming acne. Blackheads may increase if there is poor skin cleanliness. If the skin is very oily, then blackheads may occur. One another environmental reason of forming blackheads is worse and improper maintenance of hygiene.

The main factor of blackheads is the oiliness of the skin. Due to over activeness of the sebaceous gland excess oil is produced in the skin producing blackheads. Air pollution is another very harmful reason of blackhead formation, if proper cleaning is not maintained.

Some more reasons of blackhead formation are excessive stress, allergy, drug consumption, digestive system disorder, time of puberty, menstruation and many more. Blackhead does not contain pus like acne. However, these result in formation of acne when the pores become blocked and bacteria infected. To avoid bacteria infection it is good to press the skin pores.

There are various ways for blackhead treatment. However, there are numerous home and natural remedies for blackheads which are easily available at home. While using these remedies be sure that you are taking proper care of your skin. It is essential to clean up your skin daily along with balanced diet. Your diet should include many fresh and raw fruits and fresh vegetables. Drink lots of liquid in the form of water of juice. Consumption of lots of water will help to excrete out all the toxic matter from the body.

Person suffering from blackhead problem should consume nutritious and healthy food stuff avoiding refined fats and carbohydrates. The diet should contain rich amount of minerals and vitamins. Avoid oily and processed food stuffs, particularly made from white flour. Home remedies are the best option for blackhead treatment without any side effects.

Prepare a solution mixed with ΒΌ cup of warm water, one tsp of Epson salt and 4 to 5 drops of iodine solution. Allow the solution to cool down. Now take a cotton ball, dip into the solution and apply it on the blackheads and surrounded areas. Prepare a paste made of one tsp turmeric and red sandalwood powder each and milk. Apply the paste on the blackheads. It is one effective treatment of blackheads.

Prepare a paste mixed with half tsp of turmeric powder and one tsp of coriander leaves juice. Apply the paste over the blackheads before going to bed and wash it in the next morning with cold water. Take a pinch of soft part of glycerin soap mixed with a pinch o salt and apply it over the infected portion. Wait for five to ten minutes and wash up.

Repeat the process for a week. Make a mixture of one tsp lemon juice and groundnut oil each. Apply the mixture over the blackheads. It will not only cure blackheads but also control further formation of blackheads. Take some seeds of ground radish and grind them. Now prepare a paste of these grinned seeds with water apply over the infected part of the skin.

Prepare a mixture of honey and one tsp of cinnamon powder and apply it over the affected areas before bedtime. Next morning wash it with cold water. Continue this process for about two weeks and get wonderful results. Home made scrub is also effective for blackhead treatment. Make a mixture of honey, common salt, yogurt and lime in small quantities. Apply the prepared scrub over the affected portions and leave it for 10 minutes and clean up. It will give a positive and instant effect for blackhead treatment.

You can also use egg for good results. Take the white portion of an egg and apply all over the face. Allow it to dry up and clean up with water gently. You can also take the juice of wheat grass regularly for the treatment of blackheads. Take some fenugreek leaves and grind them finely.

Apply the paste over the face before bedtime. Next morning wash your face with cold water. It is another very effective measure of blackhead remedy.Make a paste of grinned neem leaves along with little bit of turmeric powder.

Apply the prepared paste on the blackheads. Due to anti-bacterial quality of neem and turmeric, they can fight against the infection and prevent blackhead formation. Take some grated potato and apply it over the infected areas on your skin. It will also help to reduce blackhead problem. Take a roasted pomegranate and mash it finely to prepare a paste. Prepare a paste mixed with this pomegranate paste and lemon juice. Apply it for blackhead disorder.

Drop 2 tsp of soda bicarbonate in 3 to 4 cups water in a bucket. Dip a towel in the solution and squeeze it to drain out the excess water. Put this warm towel over your face for 4 to5 times. This method will soften the blackhead base. Now prepare a paste made of one tsp of rice flour and curd each and apply it over the infected part. Wait for 5 to 10 minutes and wash your face with water after the paste become dry. Grind some almond seeds to prepare its powder and mix it with rosewater. Rub the mixture on blackheads. It will remove the blackheads easily.
