This can be supplemented with a honey preparation, which is very effective in loosing weight. A person can add one teaspoon of honey and two teaspoons of lime juice to a glass of water. Pepper can be added if necessary. Drinking this preparation regularly helps in loosing weight fast.
A glass of boiled water can be drunk after every meal. This would help in loosing the weight fast. It is recommended that instead of taking two very heavy meals in a day, a person should taken 4-5 short meals. This also helps in checking obesity.
Ginger tea is considered as good for loosing weight and keeping obesity in control. If a person wishes, he can add black pepper and cinnamon to ginger tea, which helps in loosing weight effectively. Ginger tea can be drunk 3-4 times in a day for good results.
Tomato also checks weight of a person. Tomato should be eaten raw in the morning. In salads also, tomato should be eaten. Many people have found great results with tomato when continued regularly for 2-3 months. Similarly, mint is considered as good in reducing the weight. A person can have mint in the form of salad or in some vegetables.
For treating excess weight in the body, Commiphora mukul is also considered as useful. This herb regulates the metabolism of lipids in the body and checks obesity. A person can take a teaspoon of this herb with honey and ginger two times a day for effective treatment.
Cabbage is also good for loosing weight. This vegetable inhibits sugar and carbohydrate conversion into fats. A person can eat raw cabbage or cooked one.
Increasing the quantity of fruits in diet and avoiding high calorie diets like non-vegetarian diet, fried diet, ice-creams, chocolates etc also helps in weight reduction.
