Home Remedies for Angina

Angina is a problem of chest pain or feeling of severe pain in some other parts of body like shoulder, jaw, neck, upper side of arms or in the back portion of the body. Angina occurs due to heavy interruption in blood circulation. In some cases it gives suffocation or squeezing kind of pain in the chest. Some of the affected patients feel the uneasy discomfort of indigestion kind of disorder in body.

Angina is a disease originated from coronary artery disease (termed as CAD) is a common type of heart disorder. When there is a situation of developing plaque in the artery, it is called atherosclerosis, the inside channel becomes narrow which obstructs in receiving inadequate flow of blood in heart.

Due to inadequate supply of blood, inadequacy in supply of oxygen is observed which results in myocardial infarction. The main causes of angina are cardiovascular disease, coronary heart disease, aorta conditions, atheroma, and problem of atherosclerosis which initiates narrowing of arterial ways by forming plaque inside the wall.

Although there are medicines and some costly surgical procedures are available as the treatment of angina, there are some popular and effective home remedies which can work as supportive measure of medicinal intervention. Some of the remedies are mentioned here.

Indian gooseberries and amla are rich in vitamin-C and are proven antidote for the problem of angina. Consuming these two herbal medicines reduces the intensity of angina attack.

Lemon is a good antidote for angina and due to the presence of vitamin- C, lemon prevents formation of cholesterol in arteries. It prevents plaque formation as well as prevents heart disease.

Beet juice consumption at regular basis is good for angina prevention and control.
Honey mixed with fresh lemon juice in lukewarm water need to be consumed before going to bed. This remedy is an excellent one to prevent the pain of angina.

Grape fruits are good medicine for angina as well as for any kind of ailment of heart. Equally, consuming parsley tea for twice or thrice a day works well in prevention of angina.
