High blood pressure signs and symptoms
High blood pressure or hypertension can exist within the health system of an individual without having any specific symptom for years. However, high blood pressure is an intricate and high risk health problem and can cause stroke or heart attack, which might prove fatal.
The most deceptive part of hypertension is despite the high risk involved with this disease, apparently the problem does not show any particular symptom, even in case the blood pressure level is on severely high level. In general hypertension patients may suffer from dull typed headache, frequent nose bleed, and the patient may feel some lightheadedness from time to time.
However, in case of severely high blood pressure a hypertension patient may feel certain discomforts in almost regular manner or once a while. These discomforts can be considered as symptoms of high blood pressure.
High blood pressure patients may feel the problem of severe headache; the headache is of cluster headache type and hardly gets reduced by medicine. Only rest can reduce the severity of headache.
The patients who suffer from high blood pressure level often suffer from unconditional fatigue. Most of them face confusion while taking any decision although this symptom is optional.
Chest pain is one of the recurring problems for high blood pressure patient and often this pain can be misunderstood as gas and flatulence.
It has been observed that the patients of hypertension often suffer from the problem of blurred vision. Those who have already poor vision, they suffer more with this problem; however in most of the cases the problem of vision proves to be temporary.
High blood pressure in its severe intensity may affect kidney and if left untreated for long time may cause hematuria [blood in urine]. It is dangerous stage of this disease and requires immediate medical concern.
Apart from these symptoms and discomforts high blood patients may suffer from difficulty in breathing, irregular heart beat, and a feeling of suffocation without any particular reason. Even the problem of suffocation can be felt at airy open environment.
Hypertension patients may suffer from pounding heart, pain in neck, and buzzing sound in ear which may continue for a few moments for 10-15 minutes at a stretch. Hypertension patients may lose his/her grip and while suffering from chest pain, he/she may have temporary numbness in limbs and on legs.
