Herbal Treatment for Stomach Pain

The pain in stomach is of different type and stomach pain may vary in intensity from one patient to another ranging from mild to severe effect. Depending on the original reasons, stomach pains are generally of biting, throbbing, piercing, burning, or spasmodic type and occur with different frequencies with the suffering patients.

It is always wise to consult a doctor for the right investigation for the stomach pain problem. However, there are a few easy herbal remedies which could be tried in order to get quick relief from the pain and discomfort. These herbal remedies are meant for temporary relief and in no way are alternative to medical treatment procedure.

In some cases, stomach pain occurs due to acid reflux problem or due to gas. Slow sipping of soda water works instantly to cure the problem.
You can add fresh lemon juice [2 teaspoon] into one glass [50 ml] boiled water and a pinch of rock salt [½ gram] in it.

This herbal infusion works miracle against all types of stomach ache due to gas and flatulence and it should be taken 3-4 times a day in lukewarm condition to get the best benefit out of this herbal treatment.

You need to make a combination of different ingredients like black pepper, dry ginger, roasted cumin seeds, dry ginger, dried mint leaves, coriander seeds, asafetida, rock salt, and dried garlic cloves; after mixing all the ingredients together, you need to grind them in powder.

Whenever you will feel stomach pain you should consume ½ teaspoon -1 teaspoon of this herbal powder after each main meal. This herbal combination will provide relief from stomach pain.

If the stomach pain is felt in severe intensity and it is of cramping type, you can apply hot compress on stomach with warm pad or with hot water bottle before you consult a doctor for temporary relief.

You can add one teaspoonful castor oil and one teaspoonful ginger juice in ½ cup warm water and advised to drink it by slow sip in fighting stomach pain. This herbal remedy works well if taken two times per day.

You should take 20 grams of anise seeds and soak then in boiled water for overnight. Before consumption you need to strain out the water. This water is advised to be consumed in early morning in empty stomach for optimum benefit.
