Herbal Remedy of Chicken Pox

Latest research and study on chicken pox reveals that this is highly contagious disease and it mainly affects the children. Although it is like a skin disease and not fatal in its result but in nature it is painful, irritating and if not treated properly, there is high chance to create permanent scar on the place where the blisters appeared in the course of the ailment. The problem may persist up to 10-21days but between 14-17 days the chance of contamination remains the highest.
The first symptom of this disease is mild fever assisted by feeling of intense pain in body. The body rash comes up in the form of small red rash and ultimately turns into blister and after some days the blisters dries forming pustule and scab and finally fall off making a scar in the skin surface.
There is no medicine for this disease only a few antibiotics. But there are different herbal remedies that can cure the problem and minimizes the irritation, pain and suffering of the ailment.
The most uncomfortable sensation of chicken pox is its irritating itching. Half a cup brown vinegar needs to be added in the bath tub and this remedy will reduce the irritation of itching in the problem of chicken pox.
Green peas are to be boiled in water for at lest 8-10 minutes. The water straining the peas needs to be used in the bathing. This is good remedy for reducing the itching problem. If someone do not like to take bath, sponging body with pea water in like warm condition reduces the irritation caused by the infection of chicken pox.
Baking soda helps in reducing the itching problem. This remedy needs to be used with children especially because they are more sensitive about the skin rash. Baking soda needs to be mixed in a gall of water and the child should be sponged with the baking soda mixed water. Baking soda will form a mild coating on the blisters and the child will enjoy somehow a little relief from itching and related irritation.
Vitamin E oil and natural honey need to be mixed together and the blister affected skin need to be gently coated by the mixture. It will provide almost instant relief and due to honey the spots of scars are removed from the skin tone.
