Herbal Remedy for Freckles
Freckles are flat type, round in shape and dark colored spots that appears on skin and varies in size range from 2mm to 4mm. It occurs due to pigment precipitation on skin because the place around the freckles remains lighter in skin color. It may occur in any parts of the body but it is the general trend that freckles are seen mostly in the sun exposed areas of body. In the facial skin around the nose the spots of freckles are mostly seen and on exposure to sunlight freckles get more emphasized.
Although freckles are neither painful nor any major disorder of skin, but due to its unwanted occurrence the facial skin-tone hampers somehow and initiates cosmetic concerns for some people. There are some effective herbal remedies that can reduce and remove the spots of freckles from the skin surface.
Lemon juice contains citric acid and citric acid works as a natural bleach. Apply fresh extracted lemon juice on the freckles, it will lighten the spots and keeps back the original pigmentation of skin.
Regular use of fruit masks made of apricots, strawberries, red currants and cucumbers is beneficial for skin and helps to remove the spots of freckles.
Mix a pinch of wheat germ in natural honey and apply it on face especially on the freckles affected area, keep on managing this honey mask with gentle stroke of fingers and then rinse off with warm water and then with cold water.
Horseradish juice or horseradish vinegar is proved as beneficial for the removal of freckles.
Take 2-3 teaspoon full yellow mustard and after grinding mix it with milk. You need to apply the paste of milk and mustard on your face over the freckles and in the morning rinse it off with cold water. This is an effective remedy to remove the spots of freckle.
Take turmeric and sesame seeds in raw conditions in 1:1 proportion and make a smooth paste of thee adding a little water in it. You have to apply the paste on the spots of freckles and regular use of this mask will lighten the spots in due course.
