Vitamin A is an excellent natural remedy for the betterment of eye health. You need to include green leafy vegetables like spinach and yellow fruits like carrot, pumpkin, ripe papaya etc these are enriches with abundant amount of Vitamin-A.
Triphala is a good eye tonic and decoction of triphala can be taken as a herbal medicine to keep eyes healthy and in proper condition. Triphala need to be soaked overnight in boiled water and in the morning the strained water need to be consumed and with some part you can wash your eyes. This helps to keep eyes in conditioned for longer time than usual.
Liquorices are good herbal remedy for eye health and conditioning of eyes. Liquorice powder (grinded liquorice sticks) two teas spoon, two tea spoon of natural honey and two teaspoon of clarified butter mixed with one cup of lukewarm cow milk need to be consumed twice daily for optimum result. This combination of items is to be consumed in empty stomach. This is an effective remedy.
Washing eye with cold water regularly twice or thrice works well to cure the problem of defective vision to some extent. At least this habit keeps eye clean, eye lenses clear, and dust free.
Gazing at sun with closed eye lids for10 counts is a good exercise that rectifies the defect in vision. Some yoga practice also impacts well on defective vision to cure it.
