Hepatitis symptoms

Hepatitis is a kind of viral infections which results in inflammation in liver. The most common types of hepatitis are hepatitis A, B, and C. Each of the type has different reasons and different symptoms.Hepatitis A is the most common of all hepatitis infections. However, complications of Hepatitis A are seldom serious.The symptoms are basically mild in nature; however, the faeces of the affected persons get infectious. The general symptoms of hepatitis A are flu like mild fever, frequent spell of diarrhea, feeling of nausea, urge to vomit, loss of appetite, and abrupt weight loss in the affected patient.
In some instances, the patient may feel itchy skin problem and mild to moderate abdominal pain. Recurrence of jaundice is a common associated symptom of Hepatitis A.
Hepatitis B is more severe type of infection in liver. If left untreated, it may prove fatal for all and it causes permanent damage to liver. General symptoms of hepatitis B are flu like discomfort, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting problem, loss of hunger, weight loss, and recurrence of jaundice in the affected person. Similar to Hepatitis A, hepatitis B patients may feel also the problem of abdominal pain and itchy skin problem.
However, the faeces of the affected persons get infectious.
Most of the patients after proper treatment get completely cured from this disease. However, 20% patients may become chronic carrier of this disease and becomes infection for others. These patients suffer from chronic liver damage. New born babies become easy victims of hepatitis B disease.The chronic carriers of hepatitis B develop symptoms like cirrhosis of liver, liver cancer, and chronic hepatitis in the long-run.
Hepatitis C is a more severe infection than hepatitis A and B types. This type of infection primarily transferred through blood and is more severe than hepatitis A and B, in nature. The infected persons are carriers for hepatitis C and cause infection for others.
General symptom of hepatitis C are same like Hepatitis A and B. Flu like feverish feeling, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, weight loss problem, and jaundice are the common symptoms for Hepatitis C. Most of the patients of Hepatitis C become the carriers of this infectious disease but a few of them never display any symptoms of this infection.
In the long run hepatitis patients may develop problems like liver cancer, cirrhosis of liver, and chronic problem of hepatitis.
