Heart Attack Symptoms

A heart attack is a major damage to heart. It is mainly caused by interruption of blood flow in heart by blood clots via a coronary artery. When blood supply to heart is interrupted, the anomaly damages a part of heart muscles due to heart attack.Every heart attack is unpredictable; however, there are some symptoms for very heart attack. It has been found by analyzing different cases of heart attack that those patients could not anticipate the forthcoming problem by reading the symptoms, they have faced more major damages after the attack. Otherwise who could read the symptoms in preliminary stage, in their cases, the damage to heart muscle could have been prevented by proper medical interventions.

The patient of heart disease may feel extra pressure in chest, most of the people feel a squeezing pain at the middle position of the chest and this sharp pain stays for one or two minutes at a stretch and goes away and comes back within next 2-3 minutes with same intensity.

The pain before heart attack is felt at intense level of discomfort. The pain is of spreading type and it gets spread to neck, shoulders, and on arms.

It has been described by several patients that the pin before heart attack is felt like tight burning sensation, and in many instances the victims of heart attack have felt the disease as heavy weight on chest. Apart from chest the pain may occur in abdomen, neck, shoulders, arms, jaw, and at the inner side of arms.

There are some additional symptoms are found in the patients before heart attack like nausea, lightheadedness, shortness in breath, intense sweating, anxiety, nervousness, and shivering and discomfort of chillness all around.
Apart from this, palpitation, paleness, fainting, nausea and sudden urge to vomit are the associated symptoms of ensuing heart attack.

However, the symptoms of heart attack may vary from one patient to another depending on the age and intensity of the attack. A heart attack can be happened at any time; therefore the knowledge about heart attack symptoms will be good for the heart patients. Being aware of the alarming signals of heart attack can prevent the ultimate massacre.
