Handy Tips to Treat the Discomfort of Belching

Belching is the discharge of gas accumulated in the digestive system which comes out through mouth with a typical sound. However, the problem is not a fatal issue but obviously causes personal embarrassment.

As belching is often associated with hyperacidity and heartburn, it is associated with certain discomforts, mild to severe, in its intensity.
Here a few home remedies are mentioned for natural cure from this problem.

You are advised to make a concoction of ½ teaspoon baking soda, 1 tablespoon fresh lime extract, 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger juice with glassful water for consumption by slow sipping. Those who are suffering from chronic belching problem should consume a concoction of lukewarm water, ginger powder, and one tea spoon of baking soda before each meal. This remedy is not recommended for hypertension patients.

In one glass of hot water, one teaspoon of turmeric powder and a pinch of rock salt are supposed to be added. The concoction supposed to be consumed by low sipping in hot condition. This gives immediate relief from belching discomfort.

Two cloves of meshed garlic should be soaked into glassful hot water for 2-3 minutes, added with spoonful ginger extract. The patient suffering from belching discomfort should consume this concoction by slow sipping preferably in hot condition.

Consumption of herbal tea made with fenugreek seed, crushed cloves, and boiled water serves efficiently in reducing the discomfort caused due to belching. The decoction should be strained before consumption; however, the water soaked cloves should be eaten after chewing.

You should make a decoction with boiled water, sage leaves, and peel of an orange; the mixture needs to be boiled by slow heat for 4-5 minute. You should strain and filter the decoction before consumption.

Chewing roasted fennel seeds after each meal works efficiently in neutralizing the bout of belching. Alternatively, those who suffer from frequent belching problem can go for chewing a minor quantity of betel leaf with 2-3 drops of honey; this remedy works efficiently against gas and belching problem.

Drinking mint tea is a good natural treatment for gas and belching. The decoction of mint tea needs to be filtered and consumed by slow sipping in lukewarm or in old condition.
