Hi,
I recently got a fever about a few days ago and started getting a soar throat this morning. My lymphnodes are swollen but more severely on one side. I went to the doctor this morning and they tested me for strep and it came back negative. My doctor prescribed me for penecilin and told me to come back in about a week so I could take a test for mono. She said the results aren’t always accurate the first time which is why I’m going back in a week. I’m really worried I might have mono, except I dont feel tired and weak. Can you please help me out and tell me if I’m taking the wrong/right medication or if I do or do not have mono. Please get back to me, its urgent.
Thank you.
