Formation Causes and General Symptoms for Corns

Corns are disorder in foot-skin. Commonly it is the thickening of the skin for a small skin area.
Although corns are small in size but are extremely painful in many occurrences and causes severe discomfort in movement. Generally corns are made of soft, yellow skin in the shape of ring with a grey center. Prevalently, corns are seen on crown of toes, at the toe tip, and between 4th and 5th toe gaps.
In common occurrences, corns are found on the toe joins and foot soles. Inwardly the growth of corn is like a pyramid and the top point of the corn remain pointing inwards. When touched, corns seem to be tender inside, however, in some cases warts are mistakenly treated as corn. That is to say, primary consultation with a doctor is highly solicited for the proper diagnosis of the corn.
The corns show some general symptoms; corn is a visible existence of a stiff growth on the toe region, pain is felt if the corn is pressed, it looks like whitish or yellowish bumpy skin growth, in some specific instances redness and swelling are found around the corn.
There are different reasons behind the formation of corns on foot skin. Specifically these are formed due to excessive pressure on toes and foot-skin surfaces. In major cases faulty or improper footwear promotes this discomfort. Currently, the problem of corn has now become a common foot skin problem; some doctors opine the use of high heel shoes are one of the major reasons behind the problem of corns.
Some of the general causes for formation of corn are likewise, tight shoes, continuously working on dirty, dry, and stone full soil, lack of proper fitting in footwear, faulty stitching or lining of shoes which tends to rub against toe and causes skin damage.
Corns are not serious disorder of skin; corn formation can be controlled by right preventions. In fact, formation of corn is not an overnight phenomenon, in initial stage regular washing of feet and application of Aloe Vera extract on the corn work well to keep it in soft shape.
Strict avoidance of wearing tight shoes and socks prevents formation of corns. If you feel pain or corn better to place a foam pad on it, but trying to shape or operate it would be a dangerous option.
