Foods to lose weight

Foods play a major role in shedding off the extra body weights from body. That is why, it is really important to be choosy in food selection while pursuing any weight loss program or want to keep the curves of body under strict control. Dietitians suggest that for quick and healthy weight loss it is not the food groups, but the food quality should be taken in major concern.

Eating pattern is important to get the best weight loss benefit out of the foods. Instead of three main meals, 4-5 meals are good options for regular diet plan. The equal time gap between the meals controls hunger pangs and the calorie input and over eating tendency can be restricted.

Like fiber based foods good carbohydrate foods control intensity of hunger and calorie input because carbohydrates take time to get digested in health system. Beans, fruits, whole grains and vegetables are examples of good carbohydrates.

Consumption of good quality fats is good dietary options for quick weight loss; equally important is intake of good quality protein. Protein builds mass in body thus helps in gross reduction of accumulated fat in body.

Egg white, shrimp, low fat yoghurt, fish, shrimps, skimmed milk, and low fat cottage cheese etc. are good options of protein based foods. However, protein based foods also to be consumed in controlled quantity to prevent further weight gain in body.

Water is one of the major foods in food category which initiated natural weight loss in our body. Adequate and regular consumption of water keeps stomach full, control hunger pangs, and prevents dehydration in body.

Grapes, fruits, oranges, baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, cereals made of high-fiber, sprouted pulse, curd, and to some extent air popped popcorn etc, will be helpful in reducing weight in natural way.
