Food for Brain

Every diet plan has an impact over brain. In fact, the performance of brain largely depends on our diet. Research and study has proven that while we eat right food we can boost our IQ, improve general mood, better control emotional crisis, sharpen the memory, and keep an alert evergreen mindset.Right food for brain improves memory power, power to thought processing, and increases concentration level. Our diet should have some few brain foods everyday which take care the nutrition of our brain.
Water is one of the simple most but essential food-drinks for brain health. Consumption of plenty of water and other liquid food helps in maintaining the hydration level of brain cells and keeps brain active at optimum level.
Apart from water, some of the common, easy available and easy to digest brain friendly foods are mentioned here.
Consumption of salmon, cod fish, and fish oil greatly nourishes brain health. All these food items contain omega-3 fatty acid which is of great help for good performance level of brain.
Consumption of spinach, Brussels, broccoli, sprouts, cauliflower, etc. provides great support for stimulation and consistent good performance of brain due to the antioxidant qualities of these vegetables.
Similar to vegetable, fruits are also of great importance because fruits are also rich in antioxidants. Some of the brain friendly fruits are blueberries, strawberries, cranberries, blackberries, raspberries, plums, red grapes, avocados, kiwis, cherries, red bell peppers etc.
Recent research and study supports that chocolate improves memory power. While dark chocolate is the best option candy bars should be avoided as maximum as possible.
Whole grain foods are extremely brain friendly in nature. Oatmeal is good food for best possible brain health, it tastes good and easy to prepare and contains a certain amount of protein which slows down the release of carbohydrates in human body.
Raisins are also good food for maintaining brain health. Raisins are reliable source of boron, which is trace element and well known for it memory boosting power and improvement of concentration level, and reflex coordination of hand-eye-brain together. Apart from raisins, dried apricots, almonds, and hazelnuts are good source of boron.
