Fish Health Benefit

Fish is considered a healthy food and nutritious product for non–vegetarian diet. It is high in protein count but comparatively of low calorie count than meat products. Fish is rich in omega fatty acid count and it is good to consume certain amount of fish in everyday diet especially those who are suffering from heart disease.
Fish is low in saturated fat and cholesterol value. The protein quotient of fish is 80, and it is a rich source of omega-3 fatty acid, which is a heart friendly ingredient. Apart from that, fish food value is poor on carbohydrate count so it cannot be considered as major source of energy while consumed regularly in diet.
Small fishes are rich in calcium because these can be eaten with the fine bones. Fish is low is sodium count but rich in potassium count; marine fishes are a good source of iodine and fish liver oils are excellent source for vitamins those are soluble in fats. Some fishes are rich in vitamin C, vitamin D and niacin.
Extensive research has proved that there are some specific benefits about fish in diet and these are in advantage in maintaining good health of heart, helpful in forming stronger bone, brain development, child birth, and it works as cancer buster.
Fish promotes formation of HDL, the good cholesterol, maintains the flexibility of arteries, reduces the tendency of blood clotting, and omega 3 fatty acid prevents heart disease and reduces hypertension.
The calcium in fish helps to keep bone health strong. Those who take regular fish diet are found to suffer less in problem like arthritis.
Fish promotes overall growth of brain is fetus and for infants. That is why intake of fish is considered necessary for pregnant ladies and infant kids.
Extensive research and study reveals that omega-3 fatty acid reduces the breast tumors and checks the severity of cancerous attack in animals. Other supportive hypotheses prove that in reducing cancer severity fish plays an important role.
Extensive studies show that the pregnant women consume fish have hardly given birth to premature babies and after full term completion the babies are born with good brain development. That is why it is taken granted that fish diet helps in child birth passively.
