Easy Ways To Get Rid of Shoe Odor

Shoe odor is neither any fatal disorder nor any serious personal health issue; but sometimes it becomes most embarrassing reason in social life as well as it raises a great frown about personal hygiene and cleanliness sense of the affected person.
However, it is a manageable problem; apart from some remedies some extra precautions for cleanliness will ensure better prevention from shoe odor. Here a few tips are mentioned to tackle this problem. Diligent follow ups of the tips will surely control the problem permanently.
Baking soda is a natural agent for removal of general odor; its use is applicable for removal of indecent odor from inside the shoe. You can sprinkle some baking soda inside the shoes and keep them untouched overnight. Next morning before wearing shoes, you should shake off the soda from the shoes’ inside. For leather shoe you can keep small wraps of cotton pouch filled with baking soda otherwise direct sprinkling of baking soda may damage the leather portion of shoe.
As cleansing of shoes are obvious requirement, obviously cleansing of bacteria causing smell in feet are to be destroyed also. Like special treatment of shoes, your feet should be treated specially to destroy the bacterial infection. Soaking foot in tea liquor or in diluted vinegar will help in mass destruction of the bacterial infection.
While the shoes are not in use, you should insert charcoal or cedar shoe freshener inside them. This will keep shoe odor free and free from bacterial infection.
Wearing wet shoes will definitely aggravate the problem of shoe odor. In case your shoes are drenched by water, keep another spare ready. Sometimes excessive sweating on feet causes foul odor in foot as well as in shoe. In case of excessive sweating, use fresh sun dried socks everyday.
If you do not have sweating problem in feet, you can apply some cornstarch on feet before you wear socks and put on your shoes to prevent foot odor. Certain foods aggravate body cum foot odor. If you have already the problem of foot odor, you should avoid intake of onion, garlic, and alcohol.
