Easy Tips To Cure Eye Sty

An eye sty is a kind of bacterial infection. In some cases, the problem occurs due to clogging of the oil glands near eye- lash area. This problem, although painful, is not harmful for  general eye health or for general eye vision. This problem might be occurred in eyes at any age.

There are a few home remedies available for this problem; however, if the home remedies cannot cure the problem with 2-3 days, it will be wise to contact an eye specialist.

You need to soak a tea bag in warm water and place it in tolerable warm condition on the sty inflammation for 2-3 minutes; the tannic acid in tea will help in decreasing the inflammation of sty on eyelids.

You need to make a decoction of coriander seeds [one teaspoon in one cup boiled water]and boiled water. You should wash your sty affected eye for 3-5 times a day to get relief from the pain and swelling due to this bacterial infection.

Take some tender guava leaves and make these warm and then place them on a warm wet cloth. You need to use this guava leaves as warm compress on eye, repeated use of this guava-leaf compress helps in reducing pain, swelling, and redness of the swollen eyelid.

You need to take handful of acacia leaves and make a decoction of these leaves with 2 cups of boiled water. This decoction in lukewarm condition can be used as herbal eye wash however, before using the decoction as eye wash you need to strain the water out of the decoction.

A poultice, made with raw and grated potatoes, over eyelids will be helpful for healing of the problem of eye sty and this poultice would provide soothing comfort against the pain and swelling of eye sty.

You need to soak some triphala dry herbs in cold boiled water overnight; in the morning strain the triphala soaked water and use it as a natural eye wash for better cure of the problem.

Make a solution of alum powder adding 2-3 granules of alum in boiled water; you need to use the alum solution for eye wash repeatedly to cure eye sty problem.
