Easy Remedies to Cure Dysmenorrhea

Painful menstrual period or feeling of awkward pain and discomfort during menstrual period is medically termed as Dysmenorrhea. In the early stage of womanhood this problem of Dysmenorrhea occurs due to pelvic congestion; in the later stage of matured womanhood, Dysmenorrhea is observed due to mainly fibroids in ovary, or due to gynecological problems, or due to certain pelvic infections.

If the problem of Dysmenorrhea occurs from the very beginning of the puberty, it is better to consult a gynecologist to run a detail investigation for this anomaly. But the symptoms of menstrual bleeding is seen to be bothering for two days or for one days, you can try these natural remedies to control the pain and irritation of the suffering patient.

Soft and gentle aromatherapy massage on the abdomen helps in many instances to reduce pain and discomfort of Dysmenorrhea. The best essential oil for this purposes are clary sage, chamomile, Jasmine, and geranium etc. While the same oils can be added to bath, it gives natural freshness due to wonderful aroma and it provides therapeutic effect.

Menstrual cramp in lower belly or in the lower muscles of the patient is another bothering symptom for Dysmenorrhea; consumption of herbal teas is excellent herbal antidote for muscular cramp at this time. Ginger treated raspberry tea, catnip, lemon balm tree are excellent antidote against Dysmenorrhea. Ginger treated black and blue cohosh work efficiently in rendering its health aids to comfort the pain and cramp due to Dysmenorrhea.

Holding a warm water bottle on the paining lower abdomen would help in tolerating the problem. Due to this remedy, the pain gets reduced but sometimes warm compress increases bleeding flow.

Consumption of ripe papaya helps to control the problem of Dysmenorrhea; for the optimum use of this remedy ripe papaya has to be eaten with morning breakfast.

Carrot juice is extremely helpful herbal medicine in curing the discomfort of Dysmenorrhea; the Dysmenorrhea affected lady should consume one glassful carrot juice regularly. Alternatively, consumption of carrot and parsley soup helps in reducing pain of Dysmenorrhea.

Take a combination of aloe Vera pulp from its leaf and let honey be mixed together; the patient, who is suffering from abdominal cramp during Dysmenorrhea, should intake this herbal combination for 4-5 times by one teaspoon of this remedial medicine daily. Everyday fresh juice should be prepared for consumption.
