Easy Herbal Remedies for Minor Burn Injury Treatment

Burn injury is not only painful, it is extremely sensitive injury and prone to further infection, thus it is important to ensure proper care and precautions to be on the safer side of wellness. However, for burn injury treatment you should never make a delay in patient into emergency center however, in case of very minor injuries only the home remedies can be tries for first aid purpose and proper preventive measures are to be ensured.

For minor burn injuries it is advised to smear a little amount of toothpaste on the wound, it will ease down the irritation due to burning.

In the burn injury you can apply lavender oil; the soothing effect of lavender oil would help in curing the burning pain almost instantly and prevents from forming scar on the affected skin tone in post-healing period.

Immediately after the having the burning wound you can place an ice cube or ice cold water on it. The chillness of ice cold water would heal the problem of burning pain, but however, will result in forming blister. You should take preventive measures so that blister should not get ruptured.

You can apply vinegar treated cold water on the burn wound; it will result in soothing effect against the pain and irritation due to burn.
Smearing natural aloe Vera plant extract for the leave is a miraculous herbal burn remedy.

You need to apply this healing gel 2-3 times on the wound depending on its size and severity of injury. You can add some vitamin E capsule with it to intensify the recovery effect of aloe Vera plant.

Smearing honey on the affected wound would provide relief from pain and forming of blisters. Smearing a paste made with honey and oatmeal also proves beneficial for the treatment of minor burn injury. Smearing coconut oil or fresh potato extract also works well in reducing inflammation and formation of blisters.

But don’t use ice or ice water—they can make your burn worse.If it’s hot grease or splattered hot material like battery acid or soup, remove the clothing that’s saturated first, wash the grease off your skin, then soak the burn in cold water.” If the clothing sticks to the burn, rinse over the clothing, then go to the doctor.
