Easy Eyebrow Tweezing Tips
Although tweezing eyebrows often causes pain and numbness in the eyebrow area for some time, with some effective tips one can manage this intricate beautification process efficiently and painlessly.
It is wise to apply a bit baby’s teething cream on the eyebrows, it will make the area slightly numb and will minimize the tweezing discomfort.
It might be confusing to determine the right shape of eyebrows while tweezing the extra hairs; it is always recommended to color the extra hairs with white eyeliner pencil which is easy to locate.
You can smear a drop of hair conditioner or little amount of shaving cream on the eyebrows, it will make the hair shafts soft and easy to tweeze. Dab the eyebrows with hot water soaked towel or plan to tweeze eyebrow hairs after a hot shower. This process will help for easy tweezing of the hairs.
It is wise to do the tweezing with professional pair of tweezers so that for each of the eyes brows you will get sharp and clean tweezers. The stray hair around the eyebrow area needs to be plucked to provide clean and sharp look for the eyebrows. It is recommended to pull the hair as much as possible from the root and in the direction of the hair growth. It will be lesser painful in effect.
It is preferred that tweezing should be started from the underneath of brows than starting from above. This process of tweezing creates a natural arch in the eyebrows. In order to close the pores after tweezing, it is recommended to apply astringent on this area. Gentle massage with a soothing balm near eyebrows will help to cure the irritation caused by hair plucking and will prevent swelling.
It is better not to apply eye make up on the sensitive eyebrow area immediately after tweezing. It is preferred to pull out one hair at a time to take better control on shape of the eyebrow. Cutting hair needs to be avoided as much as possible to avoid the problem ingrown hair. Application of moisturizer before tweezing should be avoided as it can cause danger by slipping tweezers from hand.
