Easy Ayurvedic Treatments for Minor Wounds

In Ayurvedic realm of medicine, there are multiple herbal remedies for daily trouble shooting; herbal treatments of wounds is also included in this list because suffering from minor injuries are common accidents in our lives.

The herbal remedies mentioned here are meant for instant treatment for minor wounds, however in case of severe or heavy wounds, it is essential to take the injured patient to the doctor’s place or in the nearest health center for necessary first aid. The remedies mentioned here are no way should be treated as alternative to medical intervention is case of emergency against heavy injury.

You need to boil aloe leaves and should scarp on the fleshy part out of the inner part of the leaf and apply it as herbal poultice on the wound.

If the wound is being plugged by turmeric powder paste or paste made from turmeric roots, it would work fine to stop the bleeding as well as to reduce the swelling of the injured place.

The powder made by crushing black plum bark should be freckled on the wound; this remedy not only arrests bleeding with immediate effect but also initiates fast recovery from the pain and inflammation in the injured area.

You can take some powdered form of camphor and need to form a paste with clarified butter to apply the same on the wound; this herbal remedy would help to reduce pain and swelling on the injured area.

You can smear some pure old coconut oil on the wound; it would help to heal the wound efficiently.

Garlic is an excellent natural ingredient with anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory medicinal qualities; smearing garlic paste on the wound help in fast recovery and formation of pus inside the wound. It reduces swelling and pain of the affected area.

You can make a decoction with arjuna bark and need to wash any wound regularly with fresh prepared decoction. Regular wash with this natural decoction initiates faster recovery from pain and prevents discoloration of skin due to injury.
